Job description

Highly professional candidate needed to screen and match appropriate applicants with open positions, as requested by clients. Document all contact with customers and contract workers in database. Track placements in database. Exercise good judgment in the execution of placements. The ideal applicant should be persistent, diplomatic, has an eye for details and possess excellent customer service skills. Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Communicating with clients regarding their job requisitions, clarifying needs and providing qualified candidates
  • Pre-screening applicants to determine their suitability for job placement
  • Processing applicants for placement on job assignments
  • Reviewing job specifications per contract and position
  • Gathering and learning information relevant to contracts for providing temporary workers to clients
  • Liaising with applicants in order to maintain their files with up to date information, apprising them of company policies and responding to their inquiries
  • Working with computers, using software such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook and database programs
  • Maintaining written records of transactions and prepare written correspondence
  • Conducting intake interviews of applicants
  • Ensuring candidates have complete files and are fully qualified according to job specifications
  • Serving as supervisor to place contract workers

What you need to have

Skills
  • Proficient in Word and Excel or equivalent
  • Minimum 35 words per minute typing speed
  • Knowledge of Database software
  • Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication skills
Prior experience & qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience working in related field
  • 2 years of college and 2 years of related experience or 4 years of related experience
  • Customer service experience is an asset
Languages
