Location: Financial District, Manhattan, NY

Part-Time – 20hrs per week (Wed & Thurs: 9:00am to 5:00pm and Fri: 9:00am to 4:00pm)

Skilled supply-chain professional needed to provide administrative support for contract actions.

Duties including but not limited to:

  • Recordkeeping and retrieval, contract actions, in-person submissions to oversight agencies, etc
  • Processing and maintaining a database of contract modification requests by fiscal year, for encumbrance and de-encumbrance actions
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders on updates for requested actions
  • Obtaining contract information for staff and managers from systems of records as needed
  • Providing information to the business management unit on contract inquiries
  • Monitoring contract spend activities, reporting as needed and assisting with special projects as assigned
  • Creating purchase orders for the acquisition of materials
  • Researching, interviewing, and negotiating with suppliers to obtain prices and specifications

What you need to have

  • Computer skills are required
  • Knowledge and understanding of general office software, such as Word and Excel as requested
Prior experience & qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
