Location: Financial District, Lower Manhattan, NY

Hours: 9:00am to 5:00pm (full time)

Exciting and rewarding opportunities to work in the field, helping veterans to connect with their benefits! Responsibilities Incorporate both in-person events and digital outreach, also including the administration, operations, and project management of outreach activities.

Duties include:

  • Working directly with the community to promote veterans’ benefits
  • Identifying community needs, connecting the community to appropriate resources, and tracking progress
  • Performing administrative duties with field work, interacting directly with the public
  • Providing other administrative support such as but not limited to: conducting research, preparing statistical reports, and handling information requests
  • Performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings

What you need to have

  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and/or Access as requested
  • Type 50 wpm
Prior experience & qualifications
  • Minimum 6 years of experience providing administrative support
