Location: Tribeca/City Hall area, Manhattan, NY

Daily schedule full-time 9:00 AM — 5:00 PM

Motivated office professional needed to provide administrative support by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions.

  • Providing assistance to agency staff answering questions and addressing problems
  • Entering, updating, and recording support tickets into the Support Tracker system
  • Providing administrative support across the agency via in-person interviews, emails or phone contact
  • Effectively communicating agency-wide administrative policies and procedures
  • Preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings
  • Performing assigned tasks with little to no supervision

What you need to have

  • Proficient with Word and Excel. Knowledge of PowerPoint, Outlook and/or Access as requested
  • Type 45 wpm
  • Ability to work comfortably with diverse populations, with sensitivity to issues concerning health, homelessness, and mental well-being
  • An ability to meet strict deadlines
  • A keen eye for detail
  • A highly logical thought process
  • Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new priorities as they arise
Prior experience & qualifications
  • 5 years of experience providing administrative support required
  • Must have considerable experience in customer service and data entry
  • Proven commitment to values-based culture and a collaborative work environment
  • Veteran status is a strong plus
