SCHEDULE: MON-FRI (9:00AM TO 5:00PM)

  • Administer activities and process transactions for one of the following Human Resources areas: Benefits, Employment, Human Resources Information Systems and Training. Other responsibilities include:

o Gather, validate and maintain data and other transaction inputs

o Enter transactions in PeopleSoft and the service request management tool

o Retrieve, index and review scanned documents and forms

o Provide satisfactory customer service by receiving, analyzing, researching and resolving

o Integrate across BSC teams to document, research and resolve basic issues and errors

o Perform / support cyclical processing and period end activities

o Develop and update operating procedures and training materials as needed

o Understand the company vision including how responsibilities fit into strategies

o Maintain appropriate level of process, functional and technical knowledge and training

o Ensure that all assignments are completed within agreed-to Service Level Agreement

o Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives as assigned

o Identify and document input to knowledge management tool

o Support project activities including: requirements gathering, functional design & configuration, testing, training design, development & delivery, post production support

What you need to have

Skills
  • Working knowledge and use of PeopleSoft or related database software
  • Ability to work in a team environment, process requests consistently with general supervision and assess problems and promptly resolve or identify appropriate team to resolve
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations and maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Strong time management skills and ability to manage individual assignments, attention to detail
Prior experience & qualifications
  • Possess specific work experience for Human Resources area hired Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with and collaborate across all levels within and outside the organization
  • Preferred Experience: Ability to understand company HR policies and procedures. Familiarity with performance metrics and ability to meet identified targets. Working knowledge of service request management tools
  • Working knowledge and use of office productivity tools (e.g., GroupWise, MS Office applications) and web-based applications. Knowledge of Shared Services

· High School Diploma or GED. A minimum of three (3) years of Human Resources data processing experience Preferred Education: Associate degree or bachelor’s degree with relevant experience in Business or related field
