Locations: Throughout the 5 NYC Boroughs

Hours: PART-TIME (9:00am 1:00pm)

Office Assistants are needed to perform duties too varied and diverse to be classified in any specific office clerical occupation, requiring limited knowledge of office management systems and procedures. Clerical duties may be assigned in accordance with the office procedures of individual establishments and may include a combination of answering telephones, bookkeeping, typing or word processing, office machine operation, and filing

Duties include:

  • Taking physical inventory of food and supplies
  • Entering electronic delivery receipts for food and supplies received
  • Entering daily breakfast, lunch and after school meal counts into the meal reporting system
  • Packing the “grab n go” meals
  • Interoffice transfer of administrative records
  • Ordering food, record keeping (inventory, food production, delivery receipts, etc.), incident management and principal communications

What you need to have

  • Proficiency at typing, Word and Excel is a strong plus
Prior experience & qualifications
  • Prior experience performing related job duties
  • A high school diploma or its equivalent required
